Library 2.0

Reading the articles about Library 2.0 was enlightening. I gleaned some basic truths from them. Libraries must change with the times. Libraries must respond to the needs of the patrons they service. I would add that libraries are responsible for educating its patrons and giving them the tools to keep up with the times. These articles also reiterate the fact that librarians will never become obsolete as people need gatekeepers to the vast amounts of information on the web and elsewhere.
